The Boa Vaypor replaces the lower laces on the boot with a Boa dial. Bont is the only professional speed boot maker to have the official Boa license.

The top of the boot uses laces and a top velcro strap and the bottom section uses a Boa dial. The benefit of this system is that you can make the top of the boot extremely tight and you can adjust the bottom section while you are skating. This is useful to tighten your boots mid-marathon before the sprint or you may want to loosen your boots during training without having to retie your laces.

The Z is made with a 3k plain weave carbon fiber composite base. The carbon is sourced exclusively from the world’s #1 carbon manufacturer, Toray in Japan. In the front, air vents pump air into the boot which are built into the TPU protective bumper. The Z skate starts out being built around a last that has been modified and improved for over 40 years by Mr. Inze Bont. The epoxy resin is the most heat moldable in the industry. Under the liner is a high quality memory foam that is 3mm thick and 50A in hardness so your energy doesn’t get absorbed by the boot.

The skate uses Bont’s famous one piece construction and is built around a last that has been modified and improved for over 40 years by Mr. Inze Bont. The boot comes with a heat moldable tongue and incorporates our super mold technology making it extremely heat moldable. The tongue is injection molded heat moldable EVA like the foot bed. The boot is a lot stiffer than other skates in the trainer market and the stiffness comes from within, so there is no need for an external brace to give the boot stiffness.
