The legendary Bont short track Platinum K390 ice blade is back. Made with Böhler K390 powder metal tool steel which is slow ground to produce a perfectly straight piece of steel. The powder metal structure is very fine which gives exceptional gliding properties. Able to hold its edge up to 8 times longer than normal steel blades the tube has the highest bend retention of any blade on the market.

The top of the boot uses laces and a top velcro strap and the bottom section uses a Boa dial. In the front, air vents pump air into the boot which are built into the TPU protective bumper. The Z skate starts out being built around a last that has been modified and improved for over 40 years by Mr. Inze Bont. The epoxy resin is the most heat moldable in the industry. Under the liner is a high quality memory foam that is 3mm thick and 50A in hardness so your energy doesn’t get absorbed by the boot.

The Vaypor is Bont’s top of the line Short Track boot. Changes to this model include a new thinner, harder memory foam ankle padding and 10 layers of carbon fiber around the ankles for extra support.
The base is made by hand by sandwiching cross weave carbon and uni-directional carbon fiber which is embedded with epoxy thermo setting resin. The fibers are hand laid in the matrix according to the strain they will have to bear.
The Vaypor comes with three outer skin options. The newest style is a rubberized silver fiberglass outer skin which is super light weight, super strong and super exotic.
