The Bont Semi-Race is aimed at inline skaters who want the comfort of a trainer with the performance of a speed skate. The skate uses Bont’s famous one piece construction and is built around a last that has been modified and improved for over 40 years by Mr. Inze Bont. The boot comes with a heat moldable tongue and incorporates our super mold technology making it extremely heat moldable. The tongue is injection molded heat moldable EVA like the foot bed. The boot is a lot stiffer than other skates in the trainer market and the stiffness comes from within, so there is no need for an external brace to give the boot stiffness. The Z is made with a 3k plain weave carbon fiber composite base. The carbon is sourced exclusively from the world’s #1 carbon manufacturer, Toray in Japan. In the front, air vents pump air into the boot which are built into the TPU protective bumper. The Z skate starts out being built around a last that has been modified and improved for over 40 years by Mr. Inze Bont. The epoxy resin is the most heat moldable in the industry. Under the liner is a high quality memory foam that is 3mm thick and 50A in hardness so your energy doesn’t get absorbed by the boot.

The 608 inline self centering spacers for 608 bearings come in two styles. The red spacer is for aluminium hub wheels and the silver spacer for plastic hub wheels. You need 1 spacer per wheel.

Bont ABEC 7 bearings have been designed for the derby skater. They have double shields to keep the dust and dirt out and the shield can easily be removed for cleaning. We sell the bearings lubricated with a light racing oil. This means you don’t have to clean out all the thick oil that you find in other bearings. The bearing has an exceptionally low rolling resistance for maximum speed!

Each set comes with 16 bearings.
